BroadwayCon 2019 saw top Broadway community leaders and theatre professionals of mixed-race ancestry unite on the "Tale of the Broadway Beauxhomme - Discovering and Dissecting Biracial Broadway" panel (the panel's name taking inspiration from multiethnic Beauxhomme / Daniel Beauxhomme of the musical "Once On This Island") for a heartfelt discussion regarding multicultural identity and influence in the theatre. This July, we're back for BwayCon 2023 with "Tale of the Broadway Broadway Beauxhomme : Biracial Broadway Part Deux" to delve more profoundly into examining the Black / BIPOC multiracial experience on and off-Broadway; and multicultural identity in the theatre's reality, significance and relentless evolution.
