Kara Young is an actress who has distinguished herself in Off-Broadway productions including “All The Natalie Portmans,” “Halfway Bitches Go Straight to Heaven,” “The New Englanders,” “The Revolving Cycles Truly and Steadily Roll’d” and “Twelfth Night”. She is a two-time Tony nominee for “Cost of Living” and “Clyde’s”, the Lynn Nottage play that served as an impressive Broadway debut. She was also Drama Desk nominated for “Cost of Living” and “Twelfth Night.” She will sit down with Linda Armstrong and talk about her theatrical journey, her creative process and the upcoming revival of “Purlie Victorious” that she will be featured in September 2023.
