The recent wave of anti-trans and homophobic legislation that has swept across the country has left LGBTQ+ citizens feeling scared and vulnerable. Join these drag artists who have performed on Broadway, off-Broadway and in NYC Cabaret with Dartmouth Psychologist Dr. Alisa Hurwitz (“Dr. Drama”) to discuss why the art form matters, legislative threats to drag performance, how drag has always been political and ultimately celebrate the art form and how it exemplifies “joy as resistance”.
